É possível que a Apple anuncie o próximo modelo do iPhone e também uma versão em tamanho menor do iPad no dia 12 de Setembro. Foi o que divulgou o Business Insider, citando informações que fontes deram ao site iMore. O lançamento dos produtos ocorreria a partir do dia 21 de Setembro.

Até então, os rumores que circulavam não falavam em datas exatas, apenas diziam que o anúncio do iPhone 5 viria entre setembro e outubro deste ano - sem mencionar o lançamento do iPad Mini.

De acordo com o Business Insider, as previsões do iMore costumam ser certeiras. No início deste ano, o site disse que a terceira geração do iPad seria anunciada em 7 de Março, o que de fato ocorreu.

Assim, basta fazer com que uma TV reconheça a palma de sua mão, por exemplo, para que você troque de canal, aumente o volume ou desligue o aparelho com gestos bem simples, como se você estivesse controlando um mouse.

Os desenvolvedores já estavam trabalhando em jogos simples que utilizam essa tecnologia, no mesmo estilo do Kinect, porém com câmeras que capturam apenas em 2D. Com isso, é possível reproduzir o mesmo efeito de captura e reprodução de ações do corpo com uma webcam ou uma máquina fotográfica digital, por exemplo.

A XTR3D recebeu um investimento de cerca de US$ 8 mil (quase R$ 15 mil) de algumas gigantes multinacionais (como a Texas Instruments) para trabalhar na área de televisores e celulares. A competição deve ser acirrada, já que o Kinect vai ganhar uma versão para PC, e a Apple estaria desenvolvendo uma tecnologia similar. A melhor notícia disso tudo? De acordo com a BBC, o primeiro smartphone que não precisa de toques para funcionar pode chegar já em 2012.

Começou hoje a chegar às lojas portuguesas o novo exemplar da linha Transformer da Asus, conhecida por apostar em tablets fornecidos com teclados acopláveis, que os transformam em netbooks. Denominado Transformer Pad Infinity é apresentado pela marca como o primeiro tablet Full HD do mercado.
O dispositivo traz um ecrã de 10,1 polegadas, com uma resolução de 1.920 x 1.200 e uma configuração 16:10 que procura converter ao formato os consumidores intensivos de conteúdos multimédia.
Com vista a assegurar o desempenho exigível para o efeito aposta num processador de quatro núcleos NVidia Tegra 3 (T33 4-PLUS-1) a 1,6 GHz, acompanhado de uma placa gráfica GeFroce de 12 núcleos.
Outra das particularidades do modelo são os amplos ângulos de visualização (de 178º), que segundo a fabricante o tornam "perfeito para ver filmes full HD, jogar os mais recentes jogos HD e também navegar na Internet - quer em ambientes interiores quer exteriores (graças à tecnologia Super IPS+ incorporada no ecrã e que oferece imagens extremamente brilhantes)".

O modelo traz instalada versão 4.0 do Android (Ice Cream Sandwich), a primeira concebida para uma utilização transversal a tablets e smartphones, e tem ainda a destacar características como as duas câmaras integradas - uma frontal de 2 megapixéis e outra na retaguarda, de 8 megapixéis e lente de F/2.2 - e o design com apenas 8,5 milímetros de espessura.
