O protótipo apresentado em Londres foi feito a partir de poliamida de nylon em pó. Fusaro trabalhou de perto com atletas amadores para testar quais os pontos da invenção que poderão ainda evoluir.
De acordo com testes científicos, os sapatos podem aumentar o desempenho de um atleta. Na alta competição, uma vantagem de apenas alguns segundos pode significar a diferença entre uma medalha de ouro ou uma de bronze.
