Recentemente, a popular empresa japonesa de relógios Casio informou que a nova gama de relógios G-Shock terão a capacidade de trocar informações com smartphones Android.
A Casio anunciou que irá disponibilizar em Março deste ano, uma nova gamde de relógios G-Shock (GB-6900-1JF,GB-6900-4JF e GB-6900-7JF) que terá a capacidade de comunicar com os dispositivos Android Medias LTE N-04D e NEC’s Medias PP N-01D.
Segundo a Casio, o modelo G-ShockGB-6900 não sincronizará na totalidade com os dispositivos Android no entanto, permitirá ver no visor informações sobre as chamadas, e-mails, SMS, etc. Além das funcionalidades referidas, os utilizadores poderão também configurar o relógio de forma a que este vibre no pulso aquando de uma chamada ou por exemplo quando integrado com o despertador do dispositivo móvel.
A “semi”-sincronização será feita através da tecnologia Bluetooth 4.0 LE (LE=low-energy) e para quem pensar que o tempo útil de vida da bateria será reduzido, a Casio informa que a autonomia rondará os dois anos com uma pilha do modelo CR2032.
Apesar de ainda não existirem informações oficiais sobre o custo do modelo G-ShockGB-6900, estipula-se que um relógio dessa gama rondará os 180€.
