Guarda-chuva promete melhorar recepção de sinal do telemóvel(Umbrella promises to improve signal reception phone)

A operadora britânica Vodafone apresentou um projecto chamado "Booster Brolly", um guarda-chuva que promete aumentar a qualidade do sinal do telemóvel ao mesmo tempo em que carrega a bateria do aparelho.

A proposta é dar uma sobrevida ao aparelho quando o usuário está longe de uma tomada ou em um local onde a qualidade do sinal é fraca.

O acessório ainda está em fase conceitual, mas o projecto utiliza material feito de carbono e há placas sensíveis à luz do sol que são usadas para gerar energia para o telmóvel. Uma porta USB no guarda-chuva permite conectar o aparelho que pode ser recarregado por até três horas.

A Vodafone já apresentou o guarda-chuva durante o festival de música Isle of Wight, que se realizou no dia 22 de Junho.

The British operator Vodafone has submitted a project called "Booster Brolly," an umbrella that promises to increase the signal quality of the phone while charging the battery of the device.
The proposal is to provide a survival machine when the user is away from an outlet or in a place where the signal quality is poor.
The accessory is still in conceptual stage, but the project uses material made of carbon and there are signs sensitive to sunlight that are used to generate power for the phone. A USB port on the umbrella that lets you connect the device can be recharged for up to three hours.
Vodafone has introduced an umbrella during the music festival Isle of Wight, which was held on June 22.
