De acordo com uma pesquisa publicada nesta semana pela IDG Connect, o crescimento do uso de iPads por profissionais está a afectar o mercado dos portáteis.
O que até então era considerado um acessório, passou a ser a principal ferramenta de trabalho de muitos profissionais, sendo que muitos deixaram de usar portáteis e passaram a usar somente o iPad no dia a dia da empresa.
Segundo a pesquisa, 12% dos profissionais que possuem iPads optaram pelo tablet da Apple como ferramenta de trabalho. Outros 54% disseram que o iPad substitui parcialmente o uso do portátil.
Já na mesas das secretárias a taxa de adopção foi menor, cerca de 6% deixaram de utilizar outro computador em favor do iPad.
