HUD – Novos menus inteligentes para o Ubuntu(HUD - New smart menus for Ubuntu)

 Os sistemas operativos têm ganho nos últimos anos muitas funcionalidades que visam facilitar cada vez mais a simplicidade na interacção entre o utilizador e a máquina. Nesse campo, o sistema operativo da Apple é sem duvida um sistema operativo de referência pela usabilidade e simplicidade oferecida aos utilizadores.

Mas Mark Shuttleworth anunciou recentemente que o Ubuntu vai “ganhar” uns menus inteligentes especialmente desenhados para a interface Unity.

O HUD está já disponível para o Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin.

Para instalarem basta executar os seguintes comandos:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:unity-team/hud

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

Depois de instalarem, façam logout e logon e para invocar o HUD carreguem na tecla ALT

Uma vez que ainda é uma versão de testes, caso pretendam remover o hud podem usar os seguintes comandos:

sudo apt-get install ppa-purge

sudo ppa-purge ppa:unity-team/hud
