A Dell anunciou dia 26 de Junho, dois novos laptops da linha XPS, o XPS 14 (14”) e o XPS 15 (15.6”). Ambos são baseados na plataforma Intel Ivy Bridge e estarão disponíveis com diversas opções de configuração com preços a partir de US$ 1.099.
O XPS 14 possui tela com 14 polegadas e resolução de 1600 x 900, som, Waves MaxxAudio 4, leitor de cartões de memória e portas USB 3.0, mini DisplayPort e HDMI.
Em sua configuração mais simples, ele vem com 4 GB de memória RAM, disco rígido com 500 GB de capacidade e um SSD com 32 GB e interface mSATA. Já o modelo mais completo vem com 8 GB de memória RAM e SSD com 512 GB de capacidade. Sobre a placa de vídeo, o usuário pode optar pela NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M.
O XPS 15 possui tela com 15.6 polegadas com resolução de 1920 x 1080, placa de vídeo NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M ou 640M e em sua configuração mais simples ele vem com 6 GB de memória RAM. Outras configurações podem vir com 8 GB ou 16 GB.
Além disso, ele pode vir com disco rígido com 500 GB e SSD com 32 GB ou disco rígido com 1 TB e SSD com 128 GB. Sobre os drives óticos, o XPS 14 vem com gravador de DVD e o XPS 15 traz leitor de discos Blu-ray.
