There's something weird in the digital drawing pads. Draw with these pens is like skiing on ice - there is no friction or traction. The sense of ink to be absorbed by the paper as well as subtlety of the designer, eventually be lost.
But designers and graphic designers now have a new option: a Wacom pen has developed a digital drawing called Inkling, which allows users to instantly create ink and digital versions of their designs, which can solve that feeling "slippery" electronic pads .
The Inkling works like any ballpoint pen, but is sensitive to pressure. Just trace the design on a piece of paper or notepad. In doing so, a digital version is created by pressing a button on the receiver pen, stuck on top of the block. Once completed, the digital file can be downloaded to your computer with a software called Inkling Sketch Manager. Files can also be exported to Photoshop and Illustrator.
According to Wacom, the new pen "bridges the gap between traditional drawing freehand and digital development, capturing the likeness of a digital drawing done in ink on paper."
The Inkling kit comes with a stylus, a receiver, rechargeable batteries, four ink cartridges, a charger and case-Sketch Manager software. The product will be released in late September, and should cost about $ 200 in U.S. market.
