The Center for Innovation, Testing and Evaluation (Centre for Innovation, Testing and Evaluation) in Lea County, will be built in the second half to test the technologies of the future of cities.
Designed from Rock Hill, South Carolina, the city will be equipped with roads, houses and other buildings, but no person. In fact, it will be a testing ground for examining the new technologies in home automation and intelligent traffic systems and to check whether the electricity networks can support old news.
Although the houses are uninhabited, have structures such as pipes and appliances, where scientists can do their experiments without interfering in the daily life of a family. The estimated cost of $ 400 million, the project will create 450 permanent jobs and 3,500 indirect jobs during the initial and operating.
