Carros sem condutor (Cars without drivers)

A Volvo conseguiu experimentar com sucesso três automóveis sem condutor numa auto-estrada espanhola.

Os carros percorreram cerca de 200 quilómetros com uma passageira ao volante sem controlar o funcionamento da viatura e isso não parece perturbá-la. “ É engraçado e surpreendente ver os carros passar enquanto se lê uma revista. Até posso olhar para trás”.

A experiência foi desenvolvida em parceria com uma empresa especializada em tecnologia automóvel e a reacção é positiva para quem se deixa conduzir.

Os veículos estão equipados com câmaras, radares e um sistema de laser para identificar o veículo que está à frente.
