Burn Note – Crie notas que se auto-destroem(Burn Notice - Create notes that self-destruct)

Existem serviços que são interessantes, mesmo que seja apenas para utilizar uma vez. Um dos exemplos é o Burn Note que lhe permite enviar uma mensagem, por email ou através de um link e que, tal como nos filmes Missão Impossível, o destinatário tem apenas alguns segundos para ler até que esta se auto-destrua.

Depois de lida, a mensagem será apagada e não deixa vestígios de quem a enviou e para onde foi enviada: Uma ferramenta bem ao estilo dos agentes secretos mas com um nome muito sugestivo: Burn Note.

Basicamente este serviço online permite que se escreva uma nota e que seja enviada a um contacto de email ou que seja gerado um link para a nota. Ao escrevermos a nota podemos colocar uma palavra-passe e podemos estipular o tempo de vida da nota, o tempo que a nota desaparecerá juntamente com o que lá foi escrito. Nas opções pode permitir, ou não, que a mensagem seja copiada. Desta forma o texto ficará ou não disponível para ser copiado pelo destinatário.

Segundo o programador do serviço, nenhum rasto fica no servidor que apoia o Burn Note. Embora o serviço permita que seja feito o registo, este apenas serve para que o autor das notas saiba a quem enviou as notas e em que data.
